Description
First of all, there’s no specific meaning for Link’s eyes being different shades of blue. I colored one light blue then the others dark. I liked how the lights ones came out so I didn’t bother going back and changing them to match the others.

I knew Link, being a man of tights, would obviously wear tighter pants than what I’ve often seen him depicted in. (Nevermind there's Skyward Sword now.) However, they would be loose enough to go over his boots and allow decent movement. Why have his pants over his boots when he always wears the tights inside? Well, not many guys wear them like that nowadays and I’m trying to stay with the current style, at least a slightly. Plus, I didn’t want to try and pull off drawing bulky combat boots with skinny jeans, it would look odd in my style. Of course this has nothing to do with me not liking skinny jeans.

I didn’t want Link to be too matchy-matchy, what with his shirt and hat being the same color and all. So I took his Ocarina of Time green for his ‘tunic’ and then green from Twilight Princess for his hat. After playing around with some colors I got this really nice greeny-green that's really difficult to replicate. xD

I know making Link wear a T-shirt as his ‘tunic’ would have made more sense, but if you look at his OoT tunic it has a v-neck and a collar, something I was able to mimic with by adding the hood.
