Well, let me tell you the story of these two people!

From Steven's Point Of View:
14-year-old Steven McCartney may easily pass as human but is actually a skinwalker! Both of his parents were indulgent and attentive! His dad was weird, but also a cool guy! His mother was a strange woman and also incestuous towards him too! When he was 8 years old, his mom and dad taught him that if the person he developed a crush on ended up liking him back, he should kidnap that person! That was two years before his mom and dad divorced! Steven decides to live with his dad, but never forgot about his parents' advice! Steven looks just like his dad! He has a crush on Jannette and would always end up noticing that she seems to have a crush on him too!

From Jannette's Point Of View:
12-year-old Jannette O'Donnell may also have the ability to pass as human, but she's actually a dreamwalker! Both of her parents were negligent towards her and didn't really care that she disappeared! She's always have had a crush on Steven and who always end up noticing that he would always end up seeming to have a crush on her too! She met him in one of his dreams of trying to fit in at middle school! It was the best dream ever because she reassured him that he's beautiful just the way that he is!

One day, when Jannette was walking home from a shopping spree buying all the newest books, she ended up bumping into Steven, who was buying all the oldest books! They helped each other pick their books up! Later that night, Steven snuck into Jannette's house and kidnapped her, bringing her, her phone and charger, her heart headphones, her clothes, her money, all the books that she owns, and all the books that she bought! He took Jannette and her belongings to his mansion! Two weeks later, Jannette was sharing her interest that she has towards the newest books with Steven, and Steven was sharing his interest towards the oldest book with Jannette! Then, they were reading to each other at his family's garden! Jannette's time in captivity ended up giving her Stockholm Syndrome too, because she accepted the fact that not only was she not allowed to escape, but her parents never arranged a search party for her!

I guess you can say that not only is Steven and Jannette's relationship with each other a kidnapper-captive kind of relationship, but it's kinda like a Tuck Everlasting kind of relationship because Jesse Tuck and Winifred Foster were in love!
