Description
I'm on a bit of a Time Traveler's Wife high right now. I read the book the day before seeing the movie, and I was really touched by the whole story in both versions. I was crying so hard when I finished the book, but I was determined not to cry in the cinema (even though everyone else was) I'm not normally one for tragedies, but this story was absolutely beautiful. One of my favourite parts of the story was how Henry would time travel back to visit Clare in the meadow when she was a child. At one point it's mentioned that he helped her with her homework, particularly French verbs, and that was what came to mind when I drew this :3
Together all the while,
You can never say never,
When we don't know why,
Time and time again,
Younger now then we were before,
Don't let me go,
Don't let me go...

this is my favourite book. I cry everytime. haven't seen the movie yet, to be honest I was a bit freaked out by the trailer! didn't fit what I had in my head at all.
this picture is really pretty! I really like your lines.

Really? I re-read it after I saw the movie and I cried again. There's just something about it that manages to get to you.
The trailer is really romanticised version of the film. They chopped out quite a bit, obviously cause it's a long book, but they kept all the essential parts Will you see it anyway?
Thank you!

oh I'll totally see it anyway! I don't know if it's out here yet though... my boyfriend and I love the book and we were pretty stoked to hear it was being made into a movie. but you know when you see a trailer for an adaptation you love and you go, "wait! that's not right!"
honestly, I've read the book a billion times and I ALWAYS CRY AT THE END.

Well it came out here in the UK on the 14th, so it can't be that far behind for you guys, can it?
It's really dissapointing when that happens D: Now I know what everyone means when they tell me Ella Enchanted is all wrong XD

OH MAN don't get me started about Ella Enchanted! I first read that book when I was about 8 and I can practically recite the whole thing, I loooove it. The movie was a complete farce, a talking snake and a poisoned crown WHUT?

So it was you who told me about it! XD I now completely understand what you mean. As much as the movie was fun to watch without reading the book, the book was waaaaaaaaay better. I'm sorry you had to watch your favourite book become something you hated D:

This looks awesome. Nice poses and expressions. Cool realistic feel to it. I saw the trailer for it when i was last at the theatre.

Yay for book suggestions of the awesome variety! ^^ I will have to make a stop at my nearest bookstore once I start back at college on the 31st. (I have to go that way anyways, because Catching Fire, the sequel to The Hunger Games, is coming out around that same time, and I HAVE to get that )
And not a problem at all You deserve every bit of praise and more ^^
