Personality/Background:

As a small little dragon pony cub, Dissonance has always felt a little discriminated due to her appearance. Although Discord's redemption and reformation journey had started way before she was born, nopony could help but comment on her rainbow hoof tassle thingys or her bright pink mane. Eventually this shaped her to be a quiet and reserved draconequus, who would rather observe those around her than interact with them personally. If somepony were to come up to her and be friendly, she would be a bit surprised, because who would want to be friends with someone that looked like her? Everyday that she came home from school, Fluttershy would comfort her and persuade her into being confident in who she was, which led to her being a total mommy's girl. (is that a thing? it sounds like a thing) Overtime, Fluttershy would treat Dissonance as if she were her own, especially since she was the daughter of her "best friend" (huehuehue).

In actuality, Dissonance is perfectly capable of being just as cunning and sneaky as Discord is. After all, what child of Discord isn't? However, growing up in Ponyville has tamed most of her naturally wild behavior (mainly fluttershy too, with her s T A r e), making her more mature and dignified than she actually is. Due to her insecurities as a cub, she tends to overthink and exaggerate her perspective of things, always worrying about how ponies think of her. As a result, she develops social anxiety, and can't be around huge crowds of ponies, or else she loses control of her emotions and magic poweress. And although Discord has done his best at helping her control her magic, her powers are still unpredictable and quite dangerous.

When she finds out that her birth mother is actually Princess Celestia, she nearly has a mental breakdown. Seriously? More attention? Even with her natural appearance, which ponies of all ages criticized and were attracted to on sight? How would Equestria feel when they find out that the daughter of one of the most notorious villians in Equestrian history were to take the throne? These questions run through her mind, nearly causing her to have a panic attack. Since she cares about her parents and her friends, she never mentions these internal struggles in order not to worry them. But all throughout her time with Celestia, Dissonance is miserable and very uncomfortable. Later on, she realizes that being a princess is not destined for her. In the end, bottled up emotions can lead to traumatizing consequences.

Overall, she's dilligent, focused, a little too serious, shy, and is great for ranting to. She can listen to you go on and on about how that stupid pidgeon flew into your face and stole your peanuts for days. Except that she's a little too independent, and can neglect a few responsibilities here and there just so she can go and hang out in the royal gardens.

Trivia:

-Dissonance feels very unwelcomed at parties. they're very loud and crowded. which is why she has trouble staying calm at galas, balls, or pinkie pie's totally tubular get togethers.

-Fluttershy used to call Dissonance "Ms. Discord" due to her chaotic mane that can't seem to stop moving ;3

-She came out of a giant pink egg. yeah. idk how else she was supposed to be born.

-when dissonance was younger, she used her powers often to change into her alternate pony form. (coming soon lol) but everypony already recognized who she was by her luminous mane, and she was afraid that all the colts and fillies would tease her for wanting to be a normal pony, so she trashed it.

-obviously, dissonance is vv powerful in terms of magic. Since Discord is literally the god of chaos, and celestia is honestly a pony god, who knows what the limits of dissonance's magic capacity are?
