The Persian Empire was mighty in my game. The Pyramids, the Apostolic Palace, and probably at least a few other wonders were built there. And thanks to his decisions to throw his armies at me, he inadvertently cleared the way for my riflemen and cavalry and whatnot to come rolling in. I had yet to wipe Persia off the map, but taking the capital was a true milestone in my success.

I can only wonder what really happens when an army captures a city. ...and does not burn it to the ground or shove half the population into concentration camps or something.
