Description Place: some alternate timeline. Time: 1906. The guy to the left I made up. I think I'll name him Richard Bailey. He worked on a bunch of magic tricks involving biology and electricity. The guy to the right I thought was one of the many figures still working on Mendelian inheritance, as I went and looked for pictures of them on Wiki. However, this could just be yet another person made up by me. If anyone knows of a cutting-edge biologist that looked like him in 1906, that might be him.

In this timeline, the guy on the right managed to convince Richard to use his skills and knowledge to help figure out stuff involving genetics. Here they removed various organelles from various single-celled organisms and found that only those that lost their nuclei failed to develop. A discovery that in out timeline would not be made until, I think, either 1944 or 1946. I don't remember.
