I've had this on my computer for a while now and I never uploaded it until now. I wonder why?Anyway, these were technically two separate pieces but since they belong together I thought that it would be better if they were posted as one. I created them as the front and back cover of the free proof copy of my 2010 NaNoWriMo novel. Made using water colours and a scalpel. Photo references were of my own hand and a friend's. Funky formatting is because I literally took the cover format without the text and posted it.
...I need to work on shadows and shading. XD

Thank you! I found that a grid system and measurements helped me out a lot, but unfortunately that means I'm not very good at drawing hands without a reference pic just yet. >.>
