Thank you.
I have not even come out with the idea yet.
Life has been so monotonous and boring, I could hardly
get any inspiration to draw. Totally unmotivated and uninspired.
But no worries, I surely would get that done whenever
I am inspired. Just stay tuned. Tee-hee.

Thank you so much! I am glad you like it.
I must say, you are pretty observant.
You are right. It was refined by one of my talented friend.
It looks a bazillion times better than my old one, is not it?
And hey, it looks like someone has bought you a subscription too.
Check you email to find out who.

It did? I thought it was supposed to be
as heavy as an elephant, literally, for it is
a metal orb. And, elephants don't bounce. LOL.

Or maybe that person has decided not to reveal his (or her) identity.
If so, you will never find out unless he (or she) tells you himself (or herself).

there's such thing like hiding themselves? now why would anyone do that? its creepy nah it's probably bcuz I haven't used this email in a while, the mails're piling now but I gotta find her/him to say thanks at least
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
anotherphilip In reply to ScartletV [2009-04-10 03:04:00 +0000 UTC]
Of course you can.
One does that because he (or she) does not want to reveal his (or her) identity.
In fact, he (or she) is being extremely kind there, buying you a subscription
and not expecting anything in return. I wish someone does that to me too. lol
And you must know that, only great artists get to receive a subscription as a gift from the others.
I would buy you a subscription too, only if I was rich and had a credit card.
Your work is undeniably beautiful and totally deserves a gift from your watchers (or fans).
Maybe he (or she) did not attempt to hide at all.
If so, you can definitely find him (or her) out easily.
Just look for a mail sent by DeviantART. Also, you can write a journal to
thank him (or her). That would be the fastest way to find out who.
Well, how could you not know the things I mentioned above? Silly me.
Sorry I was overreacted. Tee-hee.

Well i found her in school today ^^, or rather, she found me
cuz my works were put on board and she recognized it was me
for one thing, I actually dunno bout da things u said above, that's why it's gud that u told me now I understand how that gift thing works--->for god's sake I didn't even know that members on DA are called deviants LOL
That's why coming from a small country clearly has many disadvantages...you should've seen the first few months I was here...okay I changed my mind that was so embarrassing to talk about and the bad thing was, no one was patient as you to actually explain how things work for me so it took me 2 years to finally get a hang of American customs...but I still has a lot to learn though...
Btw, is Malay like Singapore? I lived in Sing for a while before and there were tons of Malay people in Sing..

anotherphilip In reply to ScartletV [2009-04-10 15:00:55 +0000 UTC]
We are both multiracial countries.
So it is common to see many Malays there because
Malay is one of the biggest race in Singapore.
To know more, you should totally wikipedia or
google that because I do not know much about
Singapore. Excuse my stupidity.

Really pretty!! Being from India myself, I can get what you tried to get at
Awesome job, though there's one thing... In Indian dresses, there IS often as much of frills in the skirt as you have drawn, but they're on the same level, not... a little higher... in the front, like you've drawn.. Hope you get what I say, because this is so wonderful I just thought I'd tell you for future reference :'>
Overall, beautifully drawn, awesome colors. Fave!!!!!

It looks like it's my turn to apologize; I'm having issues juggling school and art projects. XD I'm determined to put all my effort into your half of the trade though, and I'm trying to work faster. .__.
I'd really like to see this design, as well as a several others, translated into actual dresses. They're really quite lovely. ^^

This is gorgeous!
I luv the colours, they are so cheerful, and "summery"... i like that at last you used some bright green. Green & Brown are my favourite colours!!

anotherphilip In reply to yiARa [2009-04-09 13:23:49 +0000 UTC]
This is not exactly green though. It is teal.
But no worries, I would definitely come out with something
green (or brown) whenever I am inspired. Just stay tuned.
And, thank you kindly for the compliment. I am flattered.

Wow, new dress! You are experimenting with colours? Well, this one is fabulous, good job Phil.
I like the dress, absolutely love the work on the bottom skirt, really like the top and the fabric drapes and print. I just don't see much of Indian style to it. Maybe it is too subtle for me.
