Yay! I finally got to meet someone very famous in person! Even though Johnny Yong Bosch voiced Zero for just the MvC3 fighting game (so far), I wanted something Mega Man related to be signed. I like his other roles like Ichigo and Adam Park (Green Turbo Ran- I mean Black Mighty Morphing Ranger), but I like Zero more.

I tried to get the signatures from Tom Kenny, Niki Yang, and Fred Seibert, but failed since 3/4th of people had to leave because of time constraints. The thing I wanted them to sign was a Comikaze variant metal print of Mike Vasquez's Adventure Time/Legend of Zelda artwork (I wanted something that all three of them could sign, so I bought that a few days prior). Luckily, Johnny was nice enough to do some signatures for the fans that were stubborn enough to stay outside... like me.

When I heard that Johnny Yong Bosch was coming to town, I immediately went to work on this piece. I had a really tough time on what to draw as I wanted it to relate to MvC3 in particular. I remember my favorite quote from it, and noticed how it really suited the event since it took place at a university. After that, I had ideas of making the artwork be of Zero calling the Turbo Ranger a loser (Adam Park always had the short end of the stick that season), to having the other characters Johnny voiced/acted react to Zero's sudden insult, but I decided on having it simple. I then added Deadpool because it makes it more MvC3 related and because I love the guy (I thought of having him swear too, but I thought it would make me look childish to Johnny if he read it). I spent most of the day just planning/working on this, so I was happy I got at least the drawing signed.
