Jesus I spent 10 minutes thinking of a title and still failed.I chose a title though as not just an inkling to GreedPhonse but really all the homunculi and their brainwashing by their "Master's" hands and Envy who even himself was brainwashed, tis their endless cycle they keep at. All the homunculi truly want one thing but really get corrupted to believe they're just sins, that they have to act like it, that they have to be it. Really all Greed(Phonse) wanted was to be wanted, most of all By Edward - the one who made him - since Envy and Dante kept pumping him full of lies about being abandoned. All he wants is to be wanted WITHOUT having to be someone else. Al specifically. But even in the end he accepts there isn't a way to be wanted without being Alphonse and at least wants to know "Why?" but it's soon beaten out of him where his hurt and abandonment leads to deep hatred to Ed and humans in general along with embracing his identity as a sin feeling it's really all he actually has.
But honestly all the Greeds are tragic. They all want one thing deep down. To have friends/loved ones. And I feel deep down the ideation of owning it all is their way of feeling like "if it's all mine then how can I NOT have people who love me and I can love back?" They can't be denied it if they own everything.
But yeah I protrayed that here with GreedPhonse. HERE'S SOME FEELS WITH M' HOMUNCULUS BOI. To just give an idea how my Fic stabs and slices your heart with feels. :VI feel doing it kinda comic-y style too adds to the feel. :U

I think you did an amazing job with how you portrayed him here. You also speak for every single Greed that's ever been created in both the original FMA and the Brotherhood version. Their backstories are tragic and it makes you feel for them, despite them working for the dark side. Greedphonse is a well-developed character who deserves all the love we can give him.
I can't wait to see how the story continues and how he develops as a character throughout.

I don't really think he's so much edgy as there's tragedy. Nowadays people count anything with emotion as - "gay edge". And there is the sad fact of if tragedy is protrayed bad it comes off horribly. I've seen that too many times to count. But luckily over the years and with many people telling me I'm made sure to balance Greed. Plus he has the almighty long forgotten CHARACTER DEVOLPMENT. :u I will say though my piece is a bit dark and "edgy" :V Not many people look into symbolism pieces now a days. 👍: 0 ⏩: 2
