Building bridges is a thing that both excites and worries me. I see new opportunities, hope for various futures, but also further violation of our real state of being. Am I crazy? Ah dunno. Please share your thoughts with me on this one

It's an interesting conundrum. I definitely know where you're coming from, both in terms of physical, spiritual and mental violation. But then also, any change in any way in any aspect of our environment, personage or personal space will always violate our state of being. Time itself violates the state of being continuously.Β
I guess, coming from an engineering background, i just see it as a major and exciting opportunity. We've had incredible success with bridges in this country, uniting communities which have been both physically and emotional divided for generations. This particular one however will be critical for the economic welfare of the south of the country. As we're an island all our trade comes and goes by sea. The majority of this via the UK. However with the UK leaving the European Union, that's going to create significant trade and economic issues. This bridge will link the south of the country with the only major port we currently have which ships directly to Europe, so it will be crucial. (I generally don't make arguments on economics, however economic welfare impinges on everything, physical, emotional and spiritual, so while not the most critical in itself, it's still an important part of the balance.

Really, really good photo. The fine colors, the machines, the parts of the bridge: I like it very much too!!

Thank you! It's just outside the town of New Ross in the South of Ireland. It crosses the river Barrow, the river has to be left open for ships to reach an ancient major port upstream
