First and foremost, this is kind of a peace offering to the ZeldaxPit fanclub ([link] ). Sorry to have stressed you out!
I really love Zelda, I think she's my favourite female protagonist in a Nintendo game ever. She's bound by a strong sense of duty, and love for her people. I really liked how she was portrayed in Twilight Princess.
So, I think the kind of story behind this picture is that she wants to be with Pit, but she can't leave her country or her people behind. Also, people always expect her to end up with Link; nobody really says it but it's definitely implied. But what does the Princess want?

Zelda is awesome, but there is one female character who stole my heart ^^
And who would've thought that Pit would make a comeback
And he's not that bad of a Brawl char.
He has the biggest recovery ever I think.
