Wreck-It Ralph: Fix-It Felix meets Vanellope for the first time. It doesn't end well.

"So who's the dweeb?"

Ralph glanced up at the small girl seated on his shoulder, her arms folded over her chest as she scrutinized the maintenance man conversing (arguing) with Sergeant Calhoun with narrowed eyes and a petulant expression. The large man blinked. "Who, Felix? Why would—"he paused, his eyes widening. "Oh, you never really met him, did you?"

"I don't wanna meet him," Vanellope said, though quietly enough so that Ralph didn't hear.

"Well I can fix that," Ralph continued, plucking the girl from his shoulder with ease, despite her small squeak of indignation, and placed her on the hardened chocolate floor. "Hey, Felix," he called, and the maintenance man tore himself away from his conversation, "There's someone here I want you to meet."

Excusing himself with a dramatic bow, Felix strolled over to them. "Yes?"

Ralph motioned for Vanellope to come forward, the girl having stepped behind him the moment he set her down. Her arms were still folded over her chest as Ralph made the necessary introductions. "Fix-It Felix, Vanellope von Schweetz. Vanellope, Fix-it Felix."

Somehow oblivious to the glare the child was still sporting, Felix stuck out a gloved hand to be shaken, grinning cheerily. "Well, hello there! I hope that—"the maintenance man wasn't given the chance to finish his sentence, as Vanellope, ignoring his outstretched hand, took his moment of distraction to roughly kick his shin.

As Felix shrieked girlishly, hoping up and down on one foot, Vanellope placed her hands on her small hips, boldly stating, "That's what you get for being so mean to Ralph."

In the clamor, Ralph quickly pulled the smug girl away to scold her, but was obviously holding back a smile as he did so—no one had ever stood up for him before. Calhoun had no such qualms, however, and literally shook with her laughter. "I like this kid," she said aloud, grinning.
