I've been doing some poses practice again today and since I've accumulated quite a bit of them already I decided to share this compilation with you. I wasn't sure if I should do this ('cause they're just, you know, practice scraps) but maybe it will be of use for some of you, so why not.I use mostly photos as refs (preferably martial art's, muay thai looks kinda epic :3), sometimes some random anime screenshots or anything that google will throw in my face. And sometimes I just try to draw what popped into my mind (the ones with anatomy messed up haha...ha... Still not good :I)
Anyway, feel free to use.

I've been finding these poses for a long time.... especially the Darth Maul-style double-blade sword poses. I hope you can make more.

I meant a Star Wars character who appeared in Episode I: The Phantom Menace . That guy wielded a double-blade lightsaber, and I really liked his fighting style. For those poses I used refs of spear/dual-spears users. That's much easier to find : )

Hm... As for "where" the answer would be - at home ^^". I've never taken any art-classes if that's what you meant. And "how"... I'm not really sure myself. Practice, I believe. Observing other artists. Copying one thing untill I've learnt how did it work. I seriously don't know how to answer that one, sorry ^^"
