Also, heeeey, it's still on-going after all, really TTvTT
I so wanted to post it still in May, but I failed. Stupid clock.
I had such a hard time with finishing this page that afdhgjkjgfddsg. I hate those backgrounds, but sorry, that's the best I could do, really.
Why do I even try drawing crowds, I wonder, haha ahahaa...ha.... NEVER AGAIN *flips the table*
Pfeew. Ok, that's the end of the rant, I'm all calm now
So, about this page:
- Give some love to Ghetsis he finally showed up in the show! And he's being his fanatic self, awww. (sorry, I'm tired)
- Ishara, Ghetsis and Lenora are in vips seats if you wondered why there is no damn crowd
- the reason why Akashe didn't gallop to save his master in his idiotic attack on TP base all alone was because before leaving his Poke somewhere, Khail shut them in. It means they do not see/hear nor feel their master (like putting them in the PC ingame, or something). Usually their gates are open and they can come if they want to, they are fully aware of the situation their Master is in.
- Burgh is a pervert artist, so he.. imagines things.
- Also there is nothing like "nice" Trainer in this world. They are like a damn nobility with power to explode whole cities. Every one of them gonna be arrogant in this or that way.
- In case it's not visible very well (haha, joke on me), in the few first panels Khail burns the clothes from "the HQ" action in blacksmith's forge. Doggy smells blood. Or he's just bored, who knows. (yes, it's a DOG, not a Pokemon)
- Basically trainers are like a very very veeery expensive mercenaries (kinda) but with the status of nobility (if it makes any sense). Commoners rarely ever have the chance to even get into the Gym and witness fights, but on the days of the demonstration fights they are permitted to do so (for a certain price, of course)
- Seriously those honey walls in the game were freaking me out. But I've learned that a good, real honey should burn and not only melt, that's why Khail also wanted to put something on fire.
- Most of the people living in cities's never even seen a Wild. Just as most of us never saw a a bear or a wolf. We sure know that they are somewhere out there, but we still somehow think we live in separate worlds.
- Guess what that Wild was in it's previous life and you'll get the pat on the back :> Ok, the answer's here: (seems like I really overdid it this time xD But in my defense, it has a kinda canine skull...?)
Hopefully that's all, if you're confused about anything or I misspelled something again, don't be afraid to ask/tell me so!
And now, good night and let's hope the next will be sooner this time. There will finally be a POKE fight! (well, Khail's also, but POKEMON fight! : D )

Everything you draw is so insanely detailed, I enjoyed reading this page a couple times to take it all in!
It's really cool how you made Ghetsis' goals work with the way Pokémon are in this universe, now we just need to wait and find out how much of the speech was lies >D

Interesting.... but something tells me that Ghetsis is lying his butt off about wilds. If anything, Wild Pokémon need humans to PREVENT themselves from becoming feral, and Zaira's proof of that. Of course, the civvies don't know any different either way XD

Incredible usage for Ghetsis and for his speech, using a wild as a demonstration. As for how much truth is in it of it becoming that way or maybe something/one else made it turn that way than what is being said.
As for what the wild might have been, the head and fur pattern on the head seems similar to the pattern Ninetails have. The body structure, minus some of the melty-looking parts seems to match it as well as similarly shaped canines. But the tail threw me off when looking a second time. If it is a Ninetails, then it either lost its other tails during this transformation or had them severed before or after the change. Another Pokemon I could think of that bears some resemblance would be Absol, not only the head again, but the tail especially.
And that's not counting ThomasIsMe 's suggestion that it could simply be an illusion. We've seen it before in previous pages.
Either way, whatever it is, it's a great example to use for Ghetsis' speeches to try and cause disruption between the civilians and Trainers' Guild.
And I had a feeling Khail was going to get annoyed/pissed off, if not during Ghetsis' speech, definitely Burgh's gym if the honey walls were used. But I'm surprised he went with the outfit and didn't bother wearing his original clothes or try to grab something more akin to his tastes. But for that part, he might not have had the time or wouldn't be allowed to leave to find better clothes. Either way, it's going to be interesting to see the reactions from those who know him

Thank you, sometimes I need someone "wise" to do the talking for me, haha. In game I always got that impression that if in Pokemon the story was a bit more serious, Ghestis might have been a really cunning and charismatic villain.

That's very true
And I think that Ghestis had potential in such a role if you mean the anime, but because the original Plasma plot got scrapped, that idea likely was scrapped as well, which is a shame. But for the games in general, before the games and manga came out I think? Plasma was already getting memed to death because people pointed out similarities with groups like PETA, thus making Ghetsis harder to take seriously. That and some of his word fumbling during certain parts of the game before the climax.
Did not see Herdier at all, either I'm blind to miss key parts, or it shows how severe it is to change a Pokemon.
And Burgh is likely going to regret trying to make him perfect

Unfortunately, I don't follow the anime, mostly becasue I can't stand Ash. I only saw the first two or maybe three generations when I was a kid :<
That's why I'm fond of having the opportunity to make him justice and let him be the villian I'm sure he always wanted to be.
They melt quite a bit after all, so I'm sure it wasn't easy to figure it out (well, nobody guessed so I think it's my bad, haha)

I'd watch the anime more, but I don't have a way to watch it right now. As for Ash, I don't really blame him, I blame the writers for making him as he is.
It's alright, to simply make the change so drastic is good. I'm sure there might be some designs you've made that may be more obvious based on species, but for most canines, they may look similar.

Pretty much, or whoever is funding them and of course the ferocity of the fans that may alter character personalities, either to satisfy the bulk of them or the creator gets annoyed enough to take it out on his own creations to get back at them without ruining the entire story.

Ghetsis is done amazingly here and Burgh is really scaring me qwq (in both his perverted and uhm intimidating way XD)
