I like the rather soft but crude/brute atmosphere of the photo the ambiance light is perfectly envisioned as are the texture and composition the way you balance the darkness is appealing and further more the subject lies natural yet dramatically a

The tones makes this photo so clean and peaceful.
I like the shadow on the floor beside the flower, make me think that someone was there, hold the flower... Just a thought.

mal wieder eine sehr schöne aufnahme, gefällt mir gut.
ich hab mal ne frage, da ich zwar ganz gern fotographiere, aber eigentlich keine richtige ahnung hab: diesen effekt, dass äußere parts des fotos im dunkeln liegen und der fokus auf die helle mitte gerichtet ist, stellst du das manuell ein, also in form von beachtung des lichts oder bearbeitest du das nachträglich? hab schon des öfteren bilder dieser sorte gesehn (*DenisOlivier , ~correiae , =UnfinishedSympathy , ~perry etc..) und es sind immer wieder beeindruckende sachen darunter.

ich bin auch nicht gerade ein Technik-Freak...aber diese Abdunklung der Ecken nennt sich Vignettierung.
was das genau ist, kannst Du vielleicht auch hier nachlesen (interessante Seite, hab ich auch erst gerade entdeckt

bei den meisten meiner analogen Bilder liegt die vignettierung an der schlechten Qualität der Kamera bzw. des Objektivs.
Nur vereinzelt, wenns dazupasst, dunkle ich die Ecken nachträglich etwas ab. Aber meistens entsteht dieser Effekt von selbst. Vor allem bei den billigen Platikkameras.

The title made me giggle, but there's something kind of sad about the photo.
