This is very simple, but intriguing. I love how there is no boundaries between ground and sky, it makes it all the more directed towards the tree. I also like that two more trees stand behind the main one... it makes it all the more interesting, as if the world is fading into nothingness. Fantastic!

that is so beautiful. the bare hint of ground beneath it is magnificent. just enough to keep it from floating.

It reminds me the atmosphere of a french movie called Brotherhood of The Wolf. All that fog gives a pretty scary and strange side to your tree.
Its shape is like a scarecrow.
I like the aspect of something covered with "dirt".

Nice...I shot a similar desolate scene about two weeks ago whilst making my way through some serious snow in the gorgeous "Sauerland"! My girlfriend complained about not having blue skies, but such misty conditions are perfect to obtain a clean and less cluttered shot.
As I said...a very good photo with a spooky vibe...
