Its funny that we can spend millions and billions on iPods (a medocre product in of itself) but we still have hundreds of thousands of homeless people. Sad what we spend out money on as a nation.

Absolutely wonderful - I've thought about going for shots that show the contrasts of a materialistic society and it's poor - you beat me to it and did a wonderful job. I love San Francisco - do you live around there?

The colors and composition here are great, and the idea is quite good too, though nothing revolutionary. The Apple ad seems very fitting, since the iPod seems to have become some sort of symbol of coolness down there in the US. The contrast with the homeless person is perfect, but yet the muted colors of the Apple ad make him to somehow fit in to the scene. The piece of cardboard is one sort of an ad too, I guess.

wow, I'm usually not that impressed by pictures of homeless people as there are so many around. This on the other hand is something different. The contrast is amazing not only in colour but the man and the ads too. Really brilliantly done. The expression on his face just kept me looking for a couple of minutes. Really well done

I'm so much in awe about this... this images pictures so perfectly the huge chasm between the two "classes" provided by the modern society. The old man, sitting in front of the iPod ads holding up a carton with a few scribbled words on it, in a way not quite belonging into this frame yet wonderfully and oddly fitting into this picture due to the marvellous choise of brownish-red local colours. Great job!
