The color contrast in that nearly-parallel line of dirt on the stairs is what makes this image work for me--it leads you straight up the stairs, toward the bright white tree at the top. Another great shot!

At first I thought they were railroad tracks (where's my glasses.... ???). In a sense, one could see you coming out of a tunnel with this shot, climbing a grade towards the light (white tree). Once again, a great photo that captures the imagination!
