Description
Title says it all. A project xXCrystal-VixenXx and I are working on, with assistance from Ideya-Freak . Elaboration on all things will come. Just depends on when we can get together to collaborate, when deviantart decides to let us upload things, and when we actually have free time. Huzzah.Sweet Dreams, everyone.

Canonically, only NiGHTS appears to have a jewel on his/her chest. No one else has. But yes, that's how the theory goes.

As I'm writing this, haven't uploaded a page about the Β«Temporary IdeyasΒ». I've seen it, so she can have my OK on it, and we conclude that these Ideyas will be slightly different: while everybody can easily identify themselves to a particular Ideya in general, ex.: NiGHTS being the Red Ideya of Courage for... obvious reasons, the Β«TemporaryΒ» ones are only avaible in certains situations. That means people can't associate themselves with those for a long time. Example:
You're usually a Blue Ideya, but something in your life makes you changes temporary to, I don't know, to the Black Ideya, but once this event is over, you'll return as a Blue Ideya. However, you can return as this Ideya, but not now. It will take some time before the transformation occurs again.
They will seem over-powered/anything you want at first, but they're not permanent. As for the name, I'm aware that an opal can have many shade of coloured spots/lights on them, you definitely prove it with your picture, but don't forget that a pale colour, almost white with few colours inside of it is also a common variation of the opal, and perhaps the one most people are familiar with. That's why, and it is only my opinion, that Β«rainbowΒ» is perhaps more appropriate than Β«opalΒ».
As for the obsidian, I don't know where you found that it's meaning is life cruelty. I seem to only find its good virtues in the health domain, mostly the charmstones. Mind to give me a link or something to your symbolism?
