The lineart for the followup to my "Carly's Stuffing" pic.Here we see the results of my meerkat OC Carly's post holiday feasting. Seems she's carrying some extra weight now, as Gwen (the squirrel) pokes her newly pudgy belly bulge. You might also notice that she's sporting thicker thighs, a slightly larger rear, and some extra padding on her sides. Carly certainly doesn't mind, as her kind need to maintain their body heat in order to remain healthy, so she figured, What better form of insulation than a layer of fat?
As a side note, look, new winter based outfits for Gwen and Carly!
I seem to be drawing Carly a lot lately, and I definitely have a few others featuring her and Gwen in mind. I probably won't get around to coloring this until after Christmas.P.S. Yes, Carly will be keeping the weight on throughout the winter. She may even get a bit bigger.

CARLY: Oh! He he! Hi, Cameron. I guess you noticed I've become a little squishy.
(She pinches her pudgy belly.)
GWEN: I knew you would put on weight after that little pig out.
CARLY: Well, what better way to keep warm around this time of year? ^_^

(Carly makes a purring noise as you nuzzle her. 
GWEN: Aw, that's sweet. ^_^ I take it you'll be keeping the weight on throughout the winter.
CARLY: Oh, definitely! It feels quite nice, and it's great for insulation.
GWEN: I suppose so. It is a bit odd, though. I mean, you've always been so lean.
CARLY: Hey, you're curvy all year round, Bubble Butt.
(Upon hearing this, Gwen sneaks a peek at her large rear.)
GWEN: Better a butt than a gut.

Awww...*hugs them both* Cool! *pats her belly*

GWEN: My, Cameron, you're an affectionate one today!
CARLY: Well, I am a bit softer now.
(You pat Carly's belly. There's a slight wobble. She giggles. 
CARLY: What was that about imagining what I'll look like after Christmas, Gwen?
(Gwen stares at her friend intently.)
GWEN: You're planning on gaining more weight, aren't you?
CARLY: Well, we're only just entering the winter season, and it's shaping up to be a long, cold one. I don't think the padding I've put on so far is gonna cut it.
GWEN: Hence why we have winter coats.
CARLY: I'm still gonna dress warmly. I just want to buildup a good layer of insulation underneath. ^_^
GWEN: All right. Just be careful, Carly. I've heard of people gaining weight for winter before, but some ended up having trouble losing it in the spring. Just try not to get too big.
CARLY: No worries. I know I'll have to shed the pounds eventually, but I might as well enjoy this while it lasts!
(She pokes herself again.

Okay then! You don't hibernate, do you? *wobbles it a little more*

CARLY: Oh no, that tradition died out long, long ago.
(You wobble her pudge a bit.)
CARLY: OK, OK, that's enough!
GWEN: I think hibernation would require you to gain far more weight than you currently have on you now.
CARLY: That's true. You know, Gwen, you're lucky you're tall. You can carry a lot more weight without becoming fat.
GWEN: I suppose you're right. I mean, I'm like 175 pounds. You're normally around 110.
CARLY: I think I'm in the 120s now.
GWEN: And it shows a lot more on you.

Oh, okay then. Good point. *smiles*

CARLY: Yeah, I'm only 5' 2'', where as Gwen is 5' 9''! That's quite a difference between us.
(Gwen comes up behind her, and places her hands on Carly's shoulders. She stands a good head taller, but looks down and smiles.
GWEN: We may be very different physically, my little meerkat, but friendship is based on far more than looks.
(Carly looks up and grins back. 
CARLY: Indeed! You've always accepted me for being a hippie just as I've always accepted you for being a goth.
GWEN: And not once did you ever see me as being intimidating.
CARLY: What's there to fear, Gwen? You're pretty. ^_^
GWEN: Oh you...
(The two friends share a hug.
