Here's the sketched outline for my 2020 Christmas pic, which unfortunately hit some delays due to certain personal issues.
It's my squirrel OC Gwen teasing her boyfriend, my friend 's wolf fursona Ash, with a giant clump of mistletoe she clipped to her tail to get him in a romantic mood before exchanging gifts. Needless to say, he's both amused and touched by the display.
This is my first full body pic of Gwen (in her default size) since her redesign, and I'm happy with the improvements to her anatomy, especially her tail. If she looks as though she put on a few pounds, that's simply a result of me giving her more realistic portions. Gwen was always intended to be curvaceous yet well built. It's also the first time I've drawn her and Ash together while they're both thin (relatively speaking). I keep trying to improve on Ash's design to keep him true to the original while also maintaining the semi-realistic wolf features. If he looks really tall compared to Gwen, it's because her knees are bent and she's leaning forward. Gwen is 5' 9", while Ash (in this body type) is 6' 1".
I kind of rushed the tree, but I just wanted something Christmas related to fill in the empty space.
Hoping to have the inked and colored versions up ASAP.
