Description
i was able to take this picture because an old lady died on my street. i didn't know her, but she passed away almost a year ago and left her house to her four grandchildren. they moved in for a while. i'd see them drinking beers in her front yard when i came home sometimes.maybe two months ago they sold the house to an architect for $1.3 mil, so i guess they're all about 325 grand richer. the architect brought a bulldozer to knock the house down and brought some gardeners to cut the trees up. it was hard to sleep with the chainsaws on all day.
i guess those chainsaws got the trees looking like this.

Beautiful silhouette, especially in the tiniest of branches contrasted against the sunset.

That's touching. I wish those 'kids' would have been more thoughtful. But if wishes were fishes I'd have more than a tank full.
I've favourited this shot because of how you captured it and for the story behind the tree.
:shiver: I hate chainsaws...So much destruction in this world.

Theres a nice but sad story about this photo, nice to have some background. Its well shot, i'm not sure whether i would of liked it at a wider angle though?
I'm not sure of the view around the tree so maybe not, but again very nice work

any wider and you'd see the corners of the house they're building
thanks
