AWESOME lighting. You know you've got good lighting control when you reign over the freakin' SUN. What kind of lens did you use on this shot?

tamron 28-200mm. was probably set around 28mm, though I don't remember exactly.
and I used fuji superia (ISO 200) film.

this is a brilliant photo.
The glow on the grass and smiles on their faces
makes me feel really warm
The sky is magnificient,
but what intrigues me the most
is that silhouette in the distance
whom could it be?

another friend of mine. he was just exploring the hill when I captured him like that.
do you think the shot would benefit from some saturation or contrast adjustment? I left it all natural

well, i through the photo into irfanview and did a bit of adjusting, and to be honest i think this has a nice softness to it as it is which captures the eclipse and moment nicely,
though, i do admit i enjoy slightly altering photos by slightly desaturating them and uping the contrast just a tad.
Try enhancing the red and green tones and decreasing the blue, it has a nice vintage feel to it.
You're the artist so it's all up to you, either way I love it.

It's been a long time snce I've seen 'lifestyle' photography I actually want to look at for longer than it takes to turn a page (you should see some of the magazines in this country... spread after spread of the same boring fashion/lifestyle stuff.....zzzzz).

Yeah 'lifestyle' is a bit ambiguous, I must admit.. It's not fashion, it's not 'street', it's not journalism... but it's in there somewhere!
I prefer it to "nice snaps of people and stuff I like", though
