Surrounded by mountains, the waters of an evening sea, a delicate sunset and the activity of a large city; An ancient temple stands high, dwarfed by life and framed in nature.This piece was created in Photoshop CS and a Wacom Intous 2 tablet.

this painting is epic!
the light in the painting is mastered wonderfully, it has so much contrast depending on where you look. i like this
the only critique i can think of (which is hardly critical) is the long curved part of the building on the right hand side of this piece, it appears lighter in mass than the other buildings. but it is minimal and barely noticable, clearly alot of time and hard work went into this.

Damn gorgeous colors. Just fantastic. Really, I can't say anything that can be improved, just because i'm so blown away by it. The city is pleasantly subdued, very much present but no overwhelming the center piece. And the sun right behind the temple is perfect, a great way to draw the eye immediately where you want it.

this image makes feel better infact. (not that i'm feeling bad, it just lifts me up a notch 
re3minds me of those badass double page panels in these bigger than A4, expensive, french or whatever comics with the intrinsically fine lines and tons of tons of them where you just stare at the comic for 3min and then realise just how much work and talent you hold in your hands (well the product, meh) ...

I am in shock and awe. This is fabulous, though you may not need me to say so. I can't believe the detail, the time and effort that must have gone into this makes me feel tired and lazy. This is amazing, truely awe inspiring and envy inducing. I'm not much of one for landscapes or cityscapes, but this I like.
