Description
An image for the new 2006 model of the Subaru Hybrid "Type-25" Impreza. Rather than fast moving shots for this campaign, I've started with a menacing looking environment with the car sitting in it.To create this image I had to take a pretty low res web image of the car (as none of these have arrived in the UK as yet) and scale it up 300% to start work. Re-detailing, re-lighting and adding features and options the car took quite some time. The background is to represent the rather serious nature of this cars performance. 400 BHP - 0-100mph 9.5 seconds. There will be more in this series.

Awesome work and awesome scene, but I have to say I am not a huge fan of the the 2006 Subarus. Did they hire a guy from Alfa Romeo to help design the front end of their cars or something?? I MUCH prefer the styling of the 03-05 Impreza

about flippin time someone made a nice picture with detail at a good res size of a flipping car! I surf through here sometimes for just nice pics of cars on here but no one EVER has any so to find one is a refreshing change.....awesome work, very hot

wow what a spectacular artwork -- gosh at first sign nobody would have said it was computer made paiting for sure. the shininess got so realistic and the design and the blue of the car is beautiful (i still haven't lost the hope of getting a car with that color XD) not to mention the amazing details such as the lava reflections in the car which is very amazing
