Description
An image for the new 2006 model of the Subaru Hybrid "Type-25" Impreza. Rather than fast moving shots for this campaign, I've started with a menacing looking environment with the car sitting in it.To create this image I had to take a pretty low res web image of the car (as none of these have arrived in the UK as yet) and scale it up 300% to start work. Re-detailing, re-lighting and adding features and options the car took quite some time. The background is to represent the rather serious nature of this cars performance. 400 BHP - 0-100mph 9.5 seconds. There will be more in this series.

The only obvious mistake I can find is the highlight in front of the right headlight. You have toned it down quite a bit, wich is good, but forgot to add more color to it. Now it is gray instead of blue.

the car is perfect... nice reflection... well i don't think blue and black fit together most of the time... anyway since its a car its ok... it might have been more menacing with black.... try to remove blue by turning down lightness in painter or any other prog.... that way u can preserve all other colors and have way with blue.

This is also my first time seeing the 2006 model. I don't know what it is about Imprezas that make me so happy!

That's nothing short of amazing. I love the reflection of the lava on the side of the car.
The colors are crisp and clear as well. I like the choice of blue for the car making it kind of a fire and ice picture.
It definitely makes me think about buying one. Great job!

Excellent job with detailing the car, redoing things and editing other parts. Very nice background, nice contrast in colors and an awesome job on adding the reflections of the BG to the car, definitely not just a "copy and paste" kind of deal. The details don't go unnoticed (in a good way). Awesome job with this
