Description
Concept PaintingThis image was created as a guide for modelling and texture artists, demonstrating the look and feel of an enviroment. The intended sensation being that it's tempting to go towards the window, but somehow there is also a threatining feeling over there.
This image was created in ~7-8 hours using PhotoShop CS + Intuos 2 Tablet. Original res 1600x2450

Haha, this is great. Take a look at my version of haunted hallway. i think i used this mage as reference and i thought it was a render. great work, i would have never known it was a painting.

This.. is so brilliant. I... I can't even describe it. It's so gorgeous. Very simple and extremely effective; the desire to go towards the light is really felt, but at the same time... maybe not so much as what would happen when you get there, but what would happen while you're walking towards it is what's giving me chills. Something behind you? Above you? The arch that blocks off the top really adds that.

I like dark stuff, but some places are too dark and make you want to walk towards the light. Cuz where I would be in the picture---I would want to walk toward the light/ window. So in case u have me figured wrong, I like this.
