This is what Isaac Clarke will look like in Dead Space 2. Edited from the larger wallpaper, available here: [link]*Note: Due to several concerns I'd like to point out even more explicitly that this wasn't an original creation of mine, check the link. This literally is just a crop edit, and I'm honestly and truly surprised it has gotten this popular when I'm pretty sure it's just promotion art which alot of people have or should have seen. Just understand that like alot of non-original edits on DA it's been done for arbitrary purposes (avatars, display pictures, for further edits etc.) and apologize for any confusion.

this game has the most different way to die in it then any other game i have ever played... from doors crushing u in half, to dieing by puke from a necromorph, or getting mouth raped by a tripod

Haters? Deviantart isn't for sharing pictures you like, and cropping an image isn't "editing" an image so much that you can now have some part of credit for the image.
I'm saying that by uploading it, and having a copyright symbol that deviantart automatically generates is saying that you claim it as your own.

If all you want is to get comments and attention for posting stuff you think is cool, go to Tumblr. That the exact sort of thing that website is for. DeviantART is for works of your creation. Had you done some other alterations to this in order to add your own spin to it, that would fall under "appropriation" and at least be considerable as your own work. This isn't.

First off, i didn't ask for your comment. Secondly, who do you think you're talking to you presumptious fool? I made this crop edit because I know that there's people out there that would want to have a pic of Isaac as a profile pic, or to use in a bigger picture, or whatever. Just as with anything else that is from a game on my deviant art, it's not my work, I put it on here for the sake of displaying. At any point have I said 'yeah i made this', and am I taking any glory for it? No. So you and everyone else who whining at me needs to fuck off. Seriously. I HAVE other works of my creation, and I HAVE lots of other creative works that you'll never no about. I didn't ask or beg all these people to give this thing comments and favs, they did it on their own. Quite frankly, anyone who's into Dead Space knows that this is from a wallpaper. So please, don't think you can come on MY DEVIANT ART and chat so much shit. it's pissin me off now. I've uploaded this pic, people can do what they want with it. So until either Deviant Art or EA games tells me to remove it, i'll LEAVE IT THERE. And regardless of what all you criticizing idiots think I won't yield to your bullshit.

Dude, I've got no problem with you sharing the stuff from these games that other people want to see. That's a good thing and I'm glad you want to do it; I share stuff like that all the time on my other blogs. But this isn't the place for it. I'm sorry that it offends you when the community of artists informs you of that, but it's just the truth. DeviantART is for YOUR user-created content. Tumblr is a great website for sharing found images the way you want to, and I'd recommend continuing your much-appreciated sharing there.
Also, in point of fact dA is telling you to remove it. Read the Submission Guidelines. When you agree to use the service provided by this website, you agreed to the terms and conditions. These say you can't upload artwork that isn't yours. Us "pretentious" folks who abide by those guidelines and use the website for what it's intended for are inevitably going to come down on you for it. It's nothing personal, we just don't want to see deviantART become something other than what it is intended for - the sharing and promotion of user-created artistic content. If you can't operate within that framework that's fine, go somewhere that better supports what you want to do. No hard feelings, no bad blood, just follow the rules or go elsewhere.
I've got no more to say, but you can be sure you're going to keep getting this "bullshit" from others. Take it easy.
