Description I decided to edit the Shadow Company soldier pic out of the 'Snatch and Grab' loading screen, simply cause I think the suspicious looking fellow deserves individual attention.

Modern Warfare 2 is owned by Infinity Ward and Acitivision

I always wondered why Shadow Company was never offered as a playable faction during multiplayer? Along with FSB and Makarov's ultranationalist men during No Russian.

Also, Shadow Company was very un-needed to the Modern Warfare 2 storyline but hey this is what happens when you get a short amount of time to make a game, you end up with faceless Americans mercenaries.

True. Which is kind of odd and ironic, because I, and many others, didn't think MW2 would go down that road. I think they were interesting as the uncanny bad guys. One minute the world is black and white; you're fighting the Russians and the Arabs, next minute you don't know who to kill and who to talk to. I like how MW2 created this situation, where 'war' is dead, and modern conflict is much more complex. It's especially the level 'Boneyard' that truly captured that confusion; Shadow Company on one side, some Russians, some OpFor.

I'm just wondering how the hell did Shepherd aquire such a large mercenary army in a matter of minutes and deploy them so fast also? Unless he had them on stand-by or something.

You're right about the confusion deal, betrayed by a miliary General and left to die in a warzone with two sides wanting to kill you. Too bad I kinda saw it coming, Shepherd always had that "I'm an evil asshole" voice to him which kinda made him a shallow villian. Modern Warfare 2 could have done without the whole betrayal plot but since it went into a hollywood movie direction.
