"Imma go outside!" Baby Drex excitedly beat his wings against the cave floor a couple times before sprinting for the entrance. "Imma go outside Flizzy! Imma go outside!" Arwin looked over at the tiny dragon in stunned surprise. "What? Wait, you... He can't! Quick, catch him before he gets to the door!" The cave sprang to life as his parents frantically stood and chased after him. Now it was getting fun. Little Drex squeaked with joy as he raced closer to freedom. He could already feel the breeze flowing over him. The excitement of having a chance to play outdoors pushed him forward. In a matter of seconds, Drex reached the opening of the cave and dashed through it. The wind quickly knocked him down as soon as he was no longer sheltered. The tiny dragon rolled helplessly across the large stone rise until he found a spot he could cling to. Another strong gust tried to sweep Drex away, but the baby dragon flattened himself against the hard surface of the rock. Moments later, his parents appeared at the cave entrance. "There he is. Don't worry bud, you'll be fine in no time." Arwin quickly ducked out of the way as Serina poked her head outside. She peered down on Drex with concern and stepped closer. "Oh dear. Hang on little one, I've got you." The orange dragonness wasn't bothered at all by the wind, which her larger form helped to block. Serina could see how fearful her son was as he squinted up at her. Drex whimpered a little and hugged her ankle as soon as he was able to move freely. "M-mommy!!" He got down and Serina carefully grasped Drex in her paw. She brought him back inside where his sister anxiously waited with their father. The little red dragon bounded over to them the moment he was set back on the ground. "Look, look, look! He's back! All safe and sound like I told you he would be." Arwin shifted slightly so that Fliz could see over his paw. She lept over it and ran up to Drex, nuzzling him all over while letting out little puffs of frost. "You're silly Drexy. Why you gots-ta be so silly?" They finally backed away from each other and Drex hung his head in shame. "I sowy." "Well bud, you've had a rather interesting little adventure. Let's see what we can find in here to play with."
