Thailand. Rented this (really small) boat for $8 a day, used it as a mobile hostel for a week while travelling around the islands with two Germans I just met.We knew each other for 5 mins before we decided to rent the boat and take off, without any destination (or map and compass
). Just some food and scuba gear.Dedicated to Franz and Dieter, the two crazy Germans I haven't seen since, but will always remember.

where in thailand was this? The water is incredible there. I remember when i went. It was crazy seeing all the fish. to bad you don't have some scuba diving pictures. I regret not taking any when I went scuba diving.

I was down in Trang, southern Thailand, in May this year. Cruising around some of the islands on the Andaman Sea. Koh Kradan, Koh Ngai, Koh Muk etc. [link]
