Interesting how this photo is set out. If I shoot and edit, I aim for detail in the centre, and the sides kinda follow on/flow etc... But here, the well laid out dress enhances the 'vain' of the model, with hair in her face. Not wanting to be looked at, waiting for that special someone, meditating... wanting to be left alone for that special some-one. Everything seems kinda stock, stock in a good way, colours, background, composition and presence etc are excellently delivered, but the ankle bracelet which is subtle enough to notice breaks out a... "I wonder..."

It breaks up the line of the legs which, although stunning legs, could always use a break. A piece of jewelry like that always has a story behind it. I once played Jedi to a young man who wanted to know how I knew so much about women we both were familiar with. I asked him to give me a woman whose "availability" he wanted to know. He named one...this leggy blond he kept getting tongue-tied in the presence of. When she was in the same room as us I complemented her earrings. She proceeded to tell us about how they were a Christmas gift from he fiance who had faked her out into thinking the jewelry box was going to be "the ring".
To most men, jewelry is like most women in a hip hop video, with no function or value beyond adornment. To most women, jewelry tells their life story and is more valuable than just metal and stones.
