This might be my favorite image of yours on dA. The cars have a 1970s feel to them, but there's really a general Ditko aspect to the whole layout. Very dynamic.

That's high praise indeed, thank you very much!
I read your article about Speedball, it was very informative. I knew Ditko worked for Marvel before the "revolution" but I didn't know he worked past the Spider-Man and Dr. Strange era.
I hope you can publish online your essay on Ditko some day, I would love to read it!

Oh, Ditko is still making comics, even though he is up in his 80s. Though much of what he's been doing the last 20 years or so is very incriminatory towards society. He takes very moralistic high roads. I like a lot of his message, but lots of folks see him as an old curmudgeon. He has his own code of ethics, which I think is awesome, but then he refuses things like money from the movies, and even interviews. He's all about the work itself. I think too many younger artists are waiting to be the next rockstars, so they don't really understand where he's coming from logistically.

That's the essay I've read!
I knew that he continued to work, but I thought he quit Marvel right after the Spider-Man/Dr. Strange era, so I thought Speedball was from that vintage and not an 80's character.
And I think you're right on your assessment of the man, Ditko embodies values we all should aspire to.
