Description
Okay, although there is technically a Flash in the 'canon' Amalgam Universe, it basicaly got three mentions and no appearances in the comics. The only thing we know is that he has some relation with Mercury and the Scarlet Witch (another Amalgam 'canon' character who is even more of a cypher than Flash), and 'Professor Kang' (an obvious Professor Zoom (AKA Reverse Flash)/ Kang the Conqueror Amalgam) is one of his enemies. That's why I'm putting this in the Amalgam Fan Created characters.

So this Flash is an amalgam of Flash and Quicksilver. I'll elaborate more in a fanfic, but basically, Barry Maximoff was adopted near Mt. Wundagore by a Romani-American couple, his father was charged with the murder of his mother when he was a kid, and was raised by his neighbor Joe West with his daughter Iris. In college, he discovered that he was a mutant with superspeed, and received a letter from a woman in Europe that claimed she could be his biological sister. In Europe, he found the woman, Wanda Zatara, and discovered that she was effectively his biological sister, but were captured, together with other mutants, by the Ultra-Evolutionary (Ultra-Humanite/High Evolutionary).

Released by Magneto, he and his sister became a part of the first short-lived incarnation of Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants, as Flash and the Scarlet Witch, but they left when the group disbanded. When he came back to Central City, he found that his father was dead. He become more determined than ever to become a forensic scientist, and retook his identity of teh Flash as Central City protector. Over time, he and Wanda, who moonlighted as the Scarlet Witch, became well regarded members of the JLA, he married Iris, and gained a Rogues gallery. Obviously, things went wrong soon afterward.
