Description
Hi! Elader asked me to make another picture with crystal city. This time the idea is a bit different - now we're in a canyon overshadowed by giant mushroom caps =] Shiny and magical crystal city with great towering pillars is surrounded by small settlements and gemstone clusters. This was fun!Commission for elader.deviantart.com

I'm into the crystals you've been doing lately, and I love the detail you put into the city. Those color choices must have been hard!

Hi! I think I can say something constructive to this painting this time. Like in other paintings by you I like the water in this one. I think the water in your paintings is one of the most unique things and if I see it I do not need to read the signature. I know directly it's by you.
One little critique at the highest stage - without your description I cannot see crystals in the painting. I know the previous painting and can imagine that these pillars on top of the city are giant crystals but I personally think in the previous painting the crystals look more natural. I miss the reflections. However, all in all another very good piece of art.

Thanks! Yes, I was a bit confused with the crystals here =] The lighting is different, this time crystals are not so shiny. There's always something to learn =]

It's the use of colour that attracted my eye. The detail and lighting made sure I stayed and looked and looked. Well done!
