My mom came in
And then she said
That you were
Missing

I didn’t believe
What she said
I couldn’t believe
You left

Everything froze
The world
Time
My heart

Like in a dream
I rose to my feet
And walked down the hall
To tell your mom

I didn’t know much
I hadn’t talked to you
Since you never call
And I never see you

My vision blurred
I almost fell
I couldn’t breath
Or think

The tears fell
But my mom said
He’s at a friends house
He’ll be fine

But the tears came
And fell down my face
As things
Slipped away

I walked back to my room
And picked up the phone
I called a friend
And she said hello

The tears I tried to keep away
Fell down while I sobbed
She asked what was wrong
But I couldn’t answer

Finally I stopped
And told her all
She told some others
Every thing started to fall

So I felt some what better
But still very scared
What would I do
If you didn’t come home again?

But then another call
It was your mom
She said they had found you
That you were at home

I got to talk to you
I cried again
I was so worried
But then I was so glad

Then you had to go
So I said good bye
It’s been a few days
Sometimes I still want to cry

But now there’s a new fear
Because I haven’t heard from you
Have you done something else
That will last longer?

I sent you a message
Saying I wanted to talk
Because I think
You might start to cut

So when you read this
Give me a call
Because if I can
I want to help you when you fall
