Rain
The rain’s so cold
As it flows down my cheeks
Mixing with
My salty tears

Why’d you leave me
Here all alone
I miss you more
Then you know

I sit in this room
As the rain hits the glass
I sit here waiting
As time is passed

One day passes
Then two
Then three
Are you ever coming to get me?

Will you leave me here to rot?
While the clouds blot out the light
Or will you come and save me soon
While I wait here in this room

It’s been two months
And I’m sitting in the rain
At the spot
Where we will meet again

The rain is adding to my tears
I still do not see you coming near
So I get up to leave
I guess you left me

I walk on the side walk
And a car comes fast
And splatters mud
On my new dress

I’m wet and cold and all alone
I guess I shouldn’t wait for you to come home
You lied to me like all the rest
Maybe you just weren’t the best

I get to my home
And open the door
There’s a note
Alone on my floor

I pick up the note
And look at the fold
It’s addressed to me
From you

I’m sorry I’m not back quiet yet
It took longer then I thought
Turns out the flight has been delayed
Because of all this rain

I’ll be back as soon
As I can
I can not wait
To see you again

I cried as the rain added to my tears
And cradled the note to my heart
I brought it back to my room
Were I will wait, No longer alone, for you

I’m not alone because the rain is here
I have the letter
I have my tears
I was never really alone I guess

I’ll never be alone again
I now relies this my friends
You are never alone if you hold some one close
They are always with you in your heart
