This group of friends
Is not a family
We try and help
For nothing!

This act is over
Listen to me for once
Open your eyes!

I know were all friends
I know this all to well
I know you want to help
But it’s not something you can do!

Don’t walk away!
Sit down, shut up
And listen for once in your life!

Our lives are bad

But we won’t always have each other

To do it themselves

Or at least not like now

This didn’t end up like a poem
But it is
Because it’s from my heart

Help is something we need
But not all the time
If people always give you the answer
What do you learn?

Next time
They come to you
Walk away
They’ll know what to do

Let them stand on there own
For now at least
So they can learn to walk
Without your help
