After Mario was able to harness the power stars into this super like state, Ant trained to get to this state himself, and after a while, he got it. He isn't invincible in this state like he is in rainbow star form, but he is a dangerous threat in this state, similar if not slightly stronger then a Super Sonic like fellow.
