the Parthenogenesis oil painting of mine was bought and is exhibited in The Vorres Modern Art Museum, in Athens, GreeceIt is one of my favorites

Parthenogenesis in Greek means virgin birth... Parthenos is virgin, birth is genesis....
One meaning is self evident... The statue breaks and the horse in live form breaks free... Freedom... and what other creature can put that to image than a horse, breaking the statue, the mold, breaking free in full gallop?
that is the first meaning, mind you... As in all real surrealistic works there are many explanations...for example the old is giving birth to new... Virgin birth etc... Whatever speaks to you...

Yes, while the temperatures in Greece are in The 45 Degrees Celsius, and all our forests are burning... The second coming is close, due to man's shortsighted catastrophe of the environment....
