True words, although they wouldnยดt be necessary here. The painting is a very clear way to tell us what you think. You wouldnยดt have to tell us in letters. Brush strokes would do.
I really like how the tear actally is the most plastic part of the painting. It reminds me of the moment when I was painting a Chet baker portrait and suddenly a "tear" of thin colour ran down his cheek.
