I came across this article the other day on MSN, which further backs up how utterly obnoxious Star Wars fans are and how extreme The Last Jedi backlash is. And I thought that the Transformers fandom was bad until I discovered the toxicity of the Star Wars fandom. observer.com/2018/05/star-wars…

I came across that article over a week ago now and it has further educated me on how bad the Star Wars fanboys are; The Last Jedi backlash is ridiculous! I just thought that it was relevant to our conversation. There was one Transformers fan, who was particularly obnoxious. He his own list of the best Transformers series and he said that the rest "suck." His list consisted of G1, Prime, Rescue Bots, Animated and RID 2015. He just couldn't be reasoned with at all and he tried to make people submit to his opinion like it was objective fact. He had a clear hatred of Beast Wars/Beast Machines and any of the Japanese TF shows. He ended up having some really bad arguments with other fans (including me) because he was too arrogant and stubborn to accept their opinions. He was called Scott Walsh and he commented in this video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Otet_T… He was one of the very worst Transformers fans I've ever came across and I imagine the Star Wars fanboys just like him; maybe even worse.

The backlash against Solo's film is even more ridiculous, BECAUSE that film was the most 'classic Star Wars' film we've ever gotten out of Disney's Star Wars. Yes, even more than Force Awakens.
Well, regarding THAT fan...I'd agree that lots of the Japanese shows were meh...but Armada should NOT be in that list. Also...wtf?! He has Rescue Bots and RID2015 listed as some of the BEST? RB is mostly for CHILDREN...and RID2015 was mediocre as frag (only Starscream's arc was good in it). And if he thinks Beast Wars specifically is BAD...then he's seriously off his rocker.
But yes, believe me...there's even worse than him on youtube. But overall, TF fanboys are still VERY tame compared to Star Wars fanboys...

I couldn't agree more as there's just no pleasing those idiots. I actually chatted to another deviant about just a few minutes ago. That film is a tribute to one of the best Star Wars characters. I just can't believe that the film hasn't had a very good reception. I haven't seen Solo's film yet, but I'm certainly planning on doing so quite soon.
He mainly didn't like Beast Wars because they Transformed into animals instead of vehicles, which is a really stupid reason to dislike the show considering it's rich storytelling and high quality writing. It also proves how narrow-minded he is. No matter what you would say to him he treat you like dirt for absolutely no reason. He would spitefully the people who liked Beast Wars "furry lovers." The only thing more asinine would be to dislike the show for its dated CGI.
I looked at another list of 15 Transformers shows ranked from best to worst and Armada was 13 (only above Energon and Combiner Wars) and they ranked RID 2015 and Rescue Bots way higher than it for some absurd reason. I've never actually seen Rescue Bots or RID 2015, but from the looks of things, they hardly seem worth bothering to me. Prime was ranked at 6, it needs to be way higher than that in my opinion. Then again, that was just one person's opinion.

That is very true. Any idiots like him are in a very small minority as far as the Transformers fandom is concerned. Which is all I can say for the Star Wars fanboys.
I went on there about a year ago and I've avoided it ever since considering the hell that rabid fanboy had put me through. I do know what your YouTube username is and I will make sure to never make that stupid mistake ever again. Energon is the only Transformers show I've ever got bored with. Even Beast Machines was entertaining and interesting enough, despite it's ugly Maximal designs. I hated it so much it put me off watching Cybertron until last year. I know that you aren't a fan of that show either but it was certainly a vast improvement over Energon to say the very least. They actually ranked Cybertron higher on Armada on that particular list. But we can both agree that it's definitely NOT better than Armada.

That other guy who talked about SJWs to you is not entirely wrong...but I'd like to see SJWs more as 'people who get royally offended at whatever OTHER people are NOT like them and especially if these people say something they don't like'. SJWs are leftist reactionaries, in that sense. Then again, I despise Alt-Right reactionaries as well (the types that the other guy you were talking with were mentioning who are bitching about the newer Star Wars films; THEY are a great example of THAT kind of reactionary). Both sides are why I prefer taking NO ground or MIDDLE ground, and also because I mostly take everything as a joke and not really things to get pissy over (unless someone is actively going out of their way to piss me off, then I DO get mad).
