I actually 'stole' this ship from Rose-MoonlightOwO because I love it so much!!

In this universe Twilight never became an alicorn, she never wanted that 'princess life' and princess Celestia never forced her to it. Some events never happened in this verse so f.e. the Golden Oak Library is still standing!

Twilight and Big Mac fell in love slowly, it happened when both were talking (yes, Big Mac opened up to her!) about their favorite books (seems like Big Mac is quite an intellectual), when Twilight would come to Sweet Apple Acres to homeschool Apple Bloom when she was sick, etc. These times when they could meet each other were filled witch countless conversations and Big Mac found someone they can pour out theirs thoughts to.

Parents:

-Twilight Sparkle-
*still an element of magic, also a librarian and a substitute teacher in Ponyville
*often visits her parents in Canterlot
*actually loves life in Sweet Apple Acres but rarely helps because she's too busy with books and students etc.

-Big MacIntosh-
*has come out as a nonbinary pony
*they talk more, thanks to Twilight
*is a stay-at-home parent

Children:

-Cosmic Crisp-
*the oldest
*is almost identical to Twilight, the exceptions are Crisp is more shy and timid, whereas Twilight knows her worth and is more confident
*aspires to be a full on librarian so she can just be with her books
*not a fan of friendships - she has some acquaintances but that's about it
*her special talent is being a librarian/caring about books
*she especially loves magic books, but she's not so good at spellcasting

-Apple Swirl-
*the second oldest
*her name was actually a compromise - Big Mac wanted more 'Apple' sounding name and Twilight wanted to name her after the Starswirl the Bearded - so they ended up with Apple Swirl
*she's interested in floristics and she opened up a florist shop with Wild Flower (Fluttershy's child)
*her talent is floristics
*loves her auntie Rarity and often helps her find the best flowers for her designs

-Cranberry Jelly-
*the second youngest
*very chill guy, he's never doing more than supposed to and often is found under the tree snoozing
*never really cared about books
*he's better off working in the kitchen than working in the orchards
*his talent is cooking, especially making cranberry jellies with the special ingredient (it's apples)

-Starshine-
*the youngest
*is still a filly but possesses strong magic power, probably from Twilight's side
*wants to play all day and night long, never seems to get tired
*doesn't have a cutie mark yet
*is interested in about everything but also nothing at the same time because she gets bored easily
