BEFORE YOU GET OFFENDED, PLEASE READThis was made 5 years ago. From my knowledge of pentacles, a right-side up star within a circle is a good sign and nothing in the least bit to be feared. But an upsidedown star in a circle (as shown in this picture) represents evil, or that elements have control over you or something as such. I do not believe that pentacles, or Wicca, are anything related to hell, or "devil worshipers". I did not make this picture with any sort of intent to portray wiccans in that light. I do know of the Wicca religion, and I respect it and find it extremely interesting, in no way did I mean offense to Wiccan beliefs. This is why I specifically made the pentacle upsidedown in the picture- because I know there is a distinct difference between an upright one and an upsidedown one. I do not mean any offense, please keep that in mind.
EDIT #2: Since some glorious people can't read I decided to place a wonderful water-mark over this picture because it keeps getting ripped off by people (probably a hell of a lot more than I'll ever know about) so no more hell fire for you!

This description below was written 5 years ago, if you find it offensive, tough luck. I explained myself already, obviously I came off immaturely about it 5 years ago but I did not have any sort of intent to insult Wicca.
Well, this started off as a blob of colours. A pure blob of three colours. And bam. This thingy pops up.
Upside-down pentacle-thingy = badbadbad and evil, meaning that the elements have control over you.
Fire + Tornadoes + evileyesinthetornadoes = mass hysteria!

Well, because I started off not knowing what the hell this was going to turn into I listened to music and got an idea from that ('Burn' by Three Days Grace). And I used the smudge-tool a lot. It was a fun learning experiance... fun fun fun...

If you cared to read my reply to ~wafflesmakemehyper , I explained my views on Wicca and of my knowledge of the pentacle and maybe you would have not have found it so offensive. I never said the elements have control over Wicca. I merely stated that an inverted pentacle is a symbol that indicates the elements have control over you (you meaning in general, not specifically you), yet an upright pentacle (the Wiccan one) is a good symbol with only positive messages to convey. This picture has nothing to do with Wiccan beliefs, nor does it comment on them.

The pentacle and the pentagram are actually different. The pentacle being a five point star and the pentagram being the star within a circle. I would also like to point out that The upside down pentagram is has been used perversely as a Satanic symbol (such as the inverted cross) when it really is simply a sign of Witches and Wiccans (which are not 'evil' as most people tend to believe). I understand the usage here in this picture, but I wanted people to know that it is not the only usage.
Very nice drawing I must say. The drawing of the fire being as chaotic as fire actually is...is rather nice.

Basically my point is just that the pentagram isn't the sign of the devil even though it has been used as such. It's more of a sign for Witches and Wiccans (who, I would like to point out, are not all evil. There is good and bad in everything, but people don't tend to see that).

Oh, and I think you got the pentacle wrong, just as a FYI; I believe a un-circled pentacle is an evil one; closed pentacles, I believe, are for personal spells. Jus sos you know.

This is a really great piece of artwork, and after reading the information about it, it is quite obvious that some of the best things come from humble beginnings.
This piece is to be applauded and celebrated.
Your depiction of the time honored images synonymous with Hell and its environs is brilliant. I am a huge fan of hellish artwork and the underworld myself.
Seeing work like this radiates an odd phenomenon from within, it exudes evil, and yet at the same time projects beauty and vision.
