Description Sorry for the camera glare grr. Etsy commission for This is her OC Dacke. I had some trouble getting the right colored fur, and it's still not perfect but this is the best I had. He was a really fun character to make and I got to make him twice four legs and two legs. He is a wonderful character and if you have not seen 's sculptures, I suggest you check them out. This version of Dacke has a tiger eye heart.

Room Guardians are small animals that watch over one's home. The tallest, standing one foot, these friends can be easily placed on window sills, kitchen shelves, dressers, you be creative. Each guardian has a genuine rabbit fur coat and is hand made by me from the wire frame to the clay face and hands. The room guardians' arms, tails, and necks are bendable and Inside each of their chests is a unique crystal heart to give each one a different energy. These little guys have a lot of character and they love having a home to watch over.

That's great! I'm glad you got to see them, because as Escaron says,
the photos do not capture them completely.

I still need to get a passport but I would definitely consider going to Sweden
in the future That would be amazing.

Nymla In reply to AnyaBoz [2014-07-10 22:27:33 +0000 UTC]

No, I would say it's very rare to be able to capture something real in a photo, it's almost always better in real life! That's why it is so awesome that I got to see your guardians in real life, since I can't afford to place any commission myself atm. Oh how many artists there are that I would love to commission! One day..

I say, do it! (About Sweden )

Hahaha, she just went home again and we had a amazing time~ me, her and my (super talented) sis vattukatt (think you know her here) Went out in our boat in the middle of the night and lit a bonfire on an island. Right now me and sis is sitting in my room drawing and crafting together! And YES!! Maybe one day you could really come visit. Your guardians are so fantastic and sell so great and I know you will only get more and more popular so maybe you really could come!  I would totally buy your ticket but sadly I earn just enough for my living and nothing more, as you know my tavern work give me super litte in payment, so Im very poor haha. But maybe in the future when it might get better for me with commissions and such stuff too I could pay half a ticket for ya. Haha Would be so much fun to somtime meet.

That sounds wonderful! Yes, I love your sister's work too! You guys are
talented! You must love to collaborate and stuff. I have quite a few artist
friends and we love to all do art together. None of them are on DA though.

I would never ask that you pay for my ticket.I actually get some flight
benefits with my step father. He works for American Airlines so I could
possibly have a discounted flight. I still need to get my passport though.
I've been trying to get my hands on my birth certificate, but it's kind of
complicated. I will definitely consider it though. Next year I'm planning
on doing some traveling so you never know…..

Actually we have never collaborated in our whole lives. With art that is. But thats totally my fault as I was so slow and only begun last year. haha. But we are now gonna write a childens book togheter! And she will be illustrating it of course!

Woooaaah that awesome! Not about your birth certificate though, I hope it will go well with that eventually! And if you decide on coming here one day, just gimme a poke! Haha

Escaron In reply to AnyaBoz [2014-07-14 09:18:27 +0000 UTC]

Yes - to only beginning last year, no - to being incredible. Hahaha. Thinking about it its kinda awesome though, and show that it was totally meant to be, because my mom happened to see this advertisment on tv (that only run one single time), she happened to switch on the tv that precise time, and choose that channel (and my family is not a television looking one, we most never use the tv at all), so anyway, she saw this advertisement from a museum in Stockholm looking for artists that could show up their video-game art. You could send your things and then judges decided if you should get in or not. And I LOVE video-games, when younger I played A TON! Mostly fantasy rpgs and adventure and horror survival, (today I unfortunately have not got so much time to do it, wich is sad, since games are like living a fantasy story. Haha)
But yeah, so my mom told me I should REALLY give it a shot, only problem was that I didnt do art. Except writing, THAT I have done for all my life and gone to schools for it and all, but unfortunately the museum wanted materialized art for their exhibit. Haha But then I decided that okay, I take what I have at home now, wiiiiiich happened to be clay! (because I had done some few small things a couple of years back for school. So then I made this one: escaron.deviantart.com/art/Arm… from The Legend of Zelda: images5.fanpop.com/image/polls… and thats when the magic happened. Really, I just felt that THIS is what Im gonna do the rest of my life! Because up to then I had felt completely lost, nothing meant anything to me, I had tried a lot of different schools and universitys but I couldnt find joy in anything, I was desperate really, because I felt so lost and had no clue what to do with my life, it was a awful period and had went on for 5 years only getting worse and worse (I never felt I belonged back in school either, in high school was when it began), I was searching for something but had no clue what it was. It was sculpting! I realized it when I begun last year, I realized that it was one of the most amazing and fun things! And I couldnt stop! In some months Id sculpted a lot of things! And I only wanted to do more and more and more!!! Hahaha XD Of course I struggled as well, as hell in fact. Because no one believed in me (you know the things with parents and relatives thinking you can not make it, you should take a normal job and be normal) and Im a very worried person that have a hard time believeing in myself as well so it was hell, but at the same time I couldnt stop sculpting either. This all feel like it happened years and year ago, but it was only last year in april.
To make a long story short, I got picked out to show my game sculpts at the exhibit, I then got into 2 newpaper and got interviewed and all, and everything just starred to happen. I decided in my heart that I WILL be sucsessful in this, I WILL become a artist that live of my art. Because I simply cant live without it. I MUST sculpt and I MUST write. Sure I doubt and worry a lot as well, but I still wont quit, because I simply cant. hahaha. And today even my parents believe a little in me, they dont try as vigourously to foce me into schools. Dont get me wrong though, the reason as to why they so strongly want me to go into schools and get a "proper job" is because we are very poor, we live under the living standards even for sweden, and then if I wont get a job (and fast) with a salary I simply wont be able to go on living, (no way to pay rent or food or anything), so its not so strange they are stressed when I say I HAVE to do art instead, that I get unhappy at other works (Ive tried many). Im stressed to, Ive got this year to prove I can do it, I was to apply to a proper school now this fall, but I think I wont need to anymore. Because I have had some commissions as of late, and some people begin to see my art and so my parents also begin to get some hope, and start to believe in me a little more (and I also got some more time at the tavern work wich really saved me there). I think its totally going in the right direction now, I have to believe that. Who knows, in another year I might be sitting here thinking back at this hard time and smile, because I have a steady business with my art and its all working.
So what I can say is that my road to follow my dream begun very adruply last year, after a longtime of searching in the dark, and only in this short time Ive been through the most amazing things, but also Ive experiencded/and am doing it still, the most hard and stressful times with doubt in every corner and uncertainity about the future and if I can make it, Ive also gone from knowing nothing of sculpting to knowing... some more, hahaha. Ive found some amazing friends here that has helped me and told me to never give up, and Ive also found all these lovely people that like my art and want to see more if it, who support me all the way, wich has strenghened me tremendously! And I have found myself and I have not given up! And Im gonna fight for this and try my very best to improve in my sculpting and become a known artist that people wanna buy art from! So that I can show both myself and the rest of the world that I CAN do this! That I can live of my art! Its possible! (this seriously sound like a life story, not a years story. XDDD)

And totally! Both me and sis feel this books gonna become down right awesome, gonna be translated and sold in a lot of countries, so watch out for that!

Oh my gosh! How can you say that you are not incredible!!!?? I have
been sculpting since I was like 8 years old and your sculpts are better than
mine! Well it looks like the artistic gene runs through both you and your sister.
It's amazing that your life's calling came to you so fast! I wonder if there's that
special thing for everyone but they just haven't found it yet.

You for sure have the talent to go far with your sculpting! Stick with it because
the people who fail just doubt themselves too much. If you believe it and work
toward it, you can do it. Keep writing, keep sculpting, keep adventuring and you
will never have a dull day in your life!

You see, I felt lost for awhile. Not quite like you though, I knew I wanted to do art, but
I liked every kind of art painting, sculpting, drawing….etc. I didn't know what to do.
I was looking to go to art school for awhile, but it was just so damn expensive! I didn't
want to be $72,00 in debt even with the scholarship! I decided to just see how far I could
go without school. I did some shows and featured some of my early room guardians
along with my paintings and ceramics and such. I got such good feedback and suddenly
this past January, my room guardians exploded! I got so many commission orders until
I had to close them off, and now that I've had so much practice, I have gotten a lot better.
I have definitely found something that can provide for me money wise. I am not going
to completely give up painting and all. I will still do that on the side while making guardians
for my job It finally all came together for me. I know I still don't have everything figured
out and I'm sure I'll run into troubles in the future, but at least I know I can do what
I love, and I know you can to. The world has a way of finding those with passion, and I know
you definitely have that.

All in all, you need not ever feel like you are not good enough, because you sure as hell
are. You just have to wait for the world to see it and I know it has started to. Your books
are going to attract so many people too!

Now you make me wanna crawl under a stone and hide! Im not good with praise. Its here I wanna screame "noooooooooooooo" Hahaha. But really, Im NOT better than you! And if you try saying otherwise Im gonna use my evil weapon and say "who sell hundreds of more sculpts than me?" Huhu XDDD Joke aside, you are amazing, wich all your customers can well proove, we just have different style is all.

But hearing you say this make me super happy and it really mean the world to me that you believe in my art. I cant even express in words how much it mean! I will totally try thinking positive as much as I can, and believe in myself and my art. Because Im with you, I do also believe that if you stay positive great things will come to you eventually. If I believe I wil make it, then I will. So I will see it like that as much as I can. That this is my reason to live and Im gonna make this dream come true!

Wow, your story is really great! And it also shows so well that dreams can come true, one day they just happen! And its so wonderful to hear that it all came togheter for you! Its like even I wanna squee over that! And I dont think you need to worry over the future at all, you will only get better and better and more and more known and people will love your guardians all over the globe. I also think your paintings are super so its a great idea to make them on the side. Its good to have some kinda variation I think, just like I can go from writing to sculpting. Because sometime you need a break from one of the things to get new ideas again.

When you say it like this it really sound like it is the truth. And even I feel I can believe in it. Thank you so VERY much for all your support and words! I will do my best and see were it takes me, along with believing it will work! I will never quit thats for sure. Haha. And I am really looking forward for my story to be published because with that it just feel like its boud to be. Ive worked so hard on it, and I will not give up until it is published. People have to know my world, I cant keep it to myself or I will explode of info-overload. XDDDD

Thank you again! A million times over!!!!
