Description This rabbit has a rose quartz crystal heart and a very soft real rabbit fur coat (Don't worry, it's just leftovers, I'm not switching back). Its back sits about 9 inches tall. The frame is mildly posable; its arms and neck bend freely all over and its legs bend slightly at the hocks.

Room Guardians are small creatures that protect one's home from negative spirits and energies. These friends can be easily placed on window sills, kitchen shelves, dressers, or wherever to keep watch over the room. Each guardian has a soft faux fur coat and each is individually sculpted from the wire frame to the clay face and hands, so no two are alike. The room guardians' arms, tails, and necks are bendable and Inside each of their chests is a unique crystal heart to give each one a different energy. These little guys have a lot of character and they love having a home to watch over.

 1. How did you come up with the room guardian concept?
The idea caught fire when a friend and I were walking through an antique store. On one of the bookshelves sat two stuffed foxes wearing riding clothes. I contemplated buying them because one could convince themselves that their expressionless stares were actually seeing and watching over the room. It was as if they were alive though they were a long way from being realistic. My contemplation came to an end when I realized I could spend less money and have a better one if I just made it myself. That is where

You're very welcome!  I have been working on a large art doll of my own character slowly over the last few years and I've been saving my cats fallen whiskers for it hah.. I can't seem to find anything synthetic that looks as nice

Hahaha that will take awhile to collect the whiskers! I know what you mean though.
I used fishing line for a couple room guardians, and I wasn't too thrilled with the look.
given, they are a lot smaller than life size so the fishing line was too thick. One of the
doll makers I know used horse hair for a life sized cat. Not sure what I would use if I
made one life sized.

No kidding, it's good that the project has taken so long in that regard, I have quite a collection so far!  I know that you can buy a little bit of elk hide with guard hairs from fishing tackle places which may work quite well too

Wow, I only manage to find one or two whiskers ever now and then from my cat.
Obviously, they would be the ideal material haha.

Those hairs may work. Natural hairs always look best, but It will probably just take
some trial and error.
