Description
Last weekend was my first ever ECCC and it was GOSH DARN AMAZING. I've been on a cloud since the wonderful time I had. Erin-Aru and I got to coordinate cosplays for most of the weekend and had a lot of fun doing so! We didn't get the chance to have any formal photoshoots during the weekend, therefore I've been scouring the internet for some presentable hall cosplay shots of us so that I can show you guys what cosplays we did during the weekend until we can have some official photoshoots. I came across this really nice photo of the two of us, and photographer J Krolak was really nice to let me share it as a little preview of my newest cosplay!
This was the first pair of cosplays that Erin and I donned during the weekend, and it's probably the combo that I've been the most excited about. >w< I've really wanted to cosplay Pepper since the summer when I started reading Iron Man, and I thought that Erin would be a good comic version Natasha to match me since she was already going to be the cinematic version Natasha to my Hawkeye. She was totally game for it and did such a good job pulling her cosplay together. And thus, our theme for the day became "badass Marvel redheads," later updated to "badass Marvel redhead widows" when we realized that both characters also happen to be widows, one figuratively and one literally.
Before anyone asks, the version of Pepper that I've gone with for this cosplay is based purely on her comic version, since I don't care much for her cinematic version. Therefore, my glove has that silver accent since it's supposed to belong to Rescue and I stuck a light in my chest (woop woop super scientific terminology). XP A surprising amount of people thought I was a genderbent Tony which was... Very surprising. Someone also told me that they thought I was supposed to be Black Widow in business attire. XD But overall, Erin and I were both well-recognized and had such a fun time -- Marvel is probably my new favourite thing to cosplay from just because of how awesomely Marvel cosplayers interact with each other and how excited I got when people around us made references to our characters. X3
Also, fun fact: I never actually told my dad about this cosplay at all before I wore it to the con, mostly because I felt a bit awkward about doing so because I'm weird like that. I'm sure he figured it all out earlier than I thought he did, but either way... Uhhh surprise, dad.
I'll hopefully get a solo shoot done soon, during which things will look more pristine than they do after a long day of con-going. Erin's wanting to trek up here to Canada to have a duo shoot of both our collabs from ECCC at some point as well. But until all that, enjoy this little preview!

Fun fact:
it looks like you have a tiny left arm.
Except it's not your arm.
Looking good!

OH MY GOSH YAY! :'D I tried so hard to look as mature as I could since she's way older than me, but I wasn't sure how successful I'd be since I'm a derpy young kid, so that really means a lot, thank you!

Yeah, it certainly was packed. The biggest con I've been to previously is Sakura-Con, which is far smaller in comparison, so this was definitely a change.
And thanks a lot! ^^

Yaaaaay thank you! Erin did an awesome job on her cosplay, it was a pleasure to match with her. This wig is probably my favourite wig now, I'm in love with how it looks~

Yaaaaay you're welcome!~ Erin really did a great job, and I think your wig suits you perfectly! Despite you being probably around 18 years old, your cosplay flawlessly makes you look like a full adult! I'm glad you're back in business, and I wish you luck for any other conventions you have to go to! Feel free to write a note to me when you have some spare time: I can't wait to start nerding out with you again!
(By the way, in case you don't know, there's gonna be a Nintendo Direct entirely about Smash Bros soon! You should watch it!)
