Just excuse my casual uncontrollable tears of joy. *Sniff sniff*

I have had so many Shingeki-related things going down this summer (as my Instagram followers probably know all-too well right now XD) so I don't think I can go very much longer without sharing another SNK upload. Northwest Fan Fest's Sunday was an absolutely amazing day for Erin and I when it came to cosplaying Shingeki. We were bromancing throughout the morning as Eren and Armin before going to the SNK meet-up which pretty much rendered me quietly shaking in the corner due to all the utterly amazing cosplayers who were there (the fandom connection is such a beautiful thing). There was this Mikasa cosplayer who we'd seen throughout the weekend and admired quietly from a distance. During the meet-up, she happened to recognize Erin from when they'd gotten a photo together along with one of our other friends the day before. We weren't too sure what to do as everyone was slowly turning up for the gathering so she turned to us and said "I'm not too sure what to do, I'm really shy" to which I told her that I was really shy too and we could be shy together. From that point, our relationship with her and as well as her friend who was also cosplaying Eren was like insta-friendship.

After spending the afternoon together as an impromptu group after her friend had to go back to her Artist's Alley table, we met up with Vic of LucidVisualDesigns for a private shoot. Vic and I had been trying all year to meet up for a photoshoot, agreeing that we'd make sure to shoot during both ECCC and Sakura-Con, but managing to completely miss each other both cons. I had absolutely no idea he'd be at NWFF since he's based in the US, but as it happened, we ran into each other while I was doing my walkthrough for the Cosplay Contest the day before! As it turns out, he's also super into SNK, so we all managed to have a phenomenal shoot together, like honestly one of the best shoots I've ever had. Vic was so good at coming up with photo concepts and poses for us, Erin looked exactly like Eren (namesake, gotta love it) and Margaret is honest to goodness my favourite Mikasa cosplayer. I really love the main trio's relationship, so getting to reenact that with such amazing cosplayers was truly magical given how many moments it felt as if I was really Armin being looked after by Eren and Mikasa. X3

Vic's mind-blowing photo skills mixed with the overall backstory of this shoot makes this set really exciting to finally share, so there certainly will be more where this one came from. I was honestly on the verge of tears when I first saw the set, thanks again to everyone involved!
