About 95% done with this, just need to adjust some of the colors and maybe add a few more details. In the meantime, I thought I'd post the uncolored sketch with the background. Because it's preeeetty. (I almost like it more than the colored version, to be honest)EDIT: Finished version here: [link]

I was just sort of messing around with things. I made one layer with some colored circles (the brush made it look like there were circles inside the circles... opacity thing I think) then copied, flipped the copy, blurred the version in back, and then just tried out blend modes until I found something that looked good. There's also a blue-purply gradient behind everything, and a gradient map (with the opacity turned waaaay down) on top of everything
